VIDEO: Adam in Mui Ne, Vietnam

Mui Ne, Vietnam is popular for kite-surfing, beautiful sand dunes, Russian tourists and swimming pools. The one-street city goes on for miles (literally) and there are heaps of choices for places to stay, from high-end resorts to backpacker dorms.

Sharing a room with some friends, we got a good deal with air-con, and just across the street from the place featured in this video—Sankara (a kite-surfing academy but also a restaurant with a swimming pool). For just buying a drink ($2 Tiger beer drafts – more than everywhere else in Vietnam, but not so terrible), you can hang out here all day. Which I almost every day.

The sand dunes in Mui Ne were really nice, too, but sledding down them was a bit of a disappointment (too much sand in my eyes). Anyways, Mui Ne was a nice enough escape from busy Saigon.
